Aaron Florence, D.O.
Orthopedics
A native of Idaho, Dr. Florence received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Idaho State University and went on to obtain his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He completed his residency at the New York Institute of Technology-New York College of Osteopathic Medicine at Peninsula Hospital Center and North Shore LIJ Health System. He completed his sub-specialty fellowship training in Sports Medicine at the Barton Lake Tahoe Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship in Zephyr Cove, Nevada. Dr. Florence provides general orthopedic care including surgery on various joints including the hips, knees, and shoulders and perform general orthopedic procedures, including arthroscopy, total joint replacements, and fracture care. With this additional training in Sports Medicine, he performs many other specialized surgeries in both the young and older injured athletes including hip arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair, and ACL reconstruction. Having grown up in a small Idaho town and living in the Midwest for four years and New York for five, Dr. Florence and his wife and four children are excited to be living in Estes Park.
Frank Dumont, M.D.
Internal Medicine
Dr. Dumont joined the Family Medical Clinic in 2002
having previously worked at Big Thompson Medical Group
in Loveland. Dr. Dumont has his roots in Colorado,
graduating Valedictorian of his class at Thompson Valley
High School in Loveland. He earned a B.A. in
Physics and a B.A. in Music from the University of
Colorado. He received his Doctor of Medicine from
the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver
in 1997 and completed his residency at the University of
Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. Dr.
Dumont is Board Certified in Internal Medicine providing
a full spectrum of adult medicine. Dr. Dumont, his
wife, and two children live in Estes Park. Dr.
Dumont is a member of the Sunrise Rotary Club. He
enjoys mountain and road bicycling, hiking, cross
country skiing, playing the violin and reading to his
children.
Amanda Luchsinger,
M.D.
Internal Medicine
Dr. Luchsinger earned her medical degree at the Medical
College of Wisconsin and completed her residency at the
University of South Florida, and is Board Certified in
Internal Medicine. Prior to arriving in Estes Park at
the Family Medical Center, she has been affiliated with
Morton Plant Mease Primary Care in Dunedin, Florida,
where she practiced since 1996. Her other calling is a
love for literature and a flair for writing.
Astrid Lampey, M.D.
Family Practice and Obstetrics
Dr. Lampey joined the Family Medical Clinic in 2000
along with her husband Dr. Patrick Barry. She
received her B.S. in Business in 1992 from the
University of Colorado. Dr. Lampey received her
Doctor of Medicine from the University of Colorado
School of Medicine in Denver in 1997 and performed her
residency at St. Anthony’s Family Practice Residency in
Denver. In her spare time Dr. Lampey enjoys hiking
and biking in the Estes Valley along with cooking and
quilting.
