Ambulance Service
The Ambulance Department
is owned by the hospital and
provides 24 hour a day
Advanced Life Support to the
community responding to 1500
calls per year. Estes Park
is the gateway to Rocky
Mountain National Park and
is host to over three
million visitors
each year. As a vacation
destination many people are
involved in high-risk
activities including rock
climbing, hiking, horse and
mountain bike riding, and
winter sports. These
activities coupled with the
high altitude (7500 to over
14,000 feet) lend themselves
to a unique and challenging
EMS service area.
